We enjoyed our lab Holiday Borrel, exchanging well wishes before we all take a well deserved break. We also said goodbye to Letitia, who finished her Master’s internship and will go on to a new lab in Heidelberg, Germany. All the best for your career, Letitia!

Wessel Rodenburg joins the lab! Wessel has a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Amsterdam, and will start his PhD in the lab today. Welcome Wessel!

Jorine attended the NWO Dutch Biophysics meeting in Veldhoven. It always feels like a big reunion, meeting old and new friends, and hearing about cool interdisciplinary research.

Jorine attended the LUMICKS C-trap user meeting in Amsterdam at Lumicks HQ. It was great connecting with other users and familiar and new faces at LUMICKS. We are excited about some of the new features that LUMICKS has been working on, and hopefully more to come from the suggestions we talked about in brainstorm sessions.
